For many people, the kitchen is an extremely important room in the house. It's usually a hive of activity, with people coming in and out to grab food, a drink or just have a catch-up, so it's important for it to look good. If you're a fan of tradition and luxury kitchens, you should be able to make some changes to make it look really fantastic and homely.
Although grey may sound like a fairly boring colour to use around the home, it can look really classy when applied in the right way to a kitchen. You could upgrade your assembled kitchen cabinets by giving them a lick of grey paint, adding a fairly neutral hue to the space.
The colour will go particularly well with real wooden flooring, so if you can update this at the same time, it would make a lot of sense.

As grey and wood are fairly dark, you'll need to ensure there is plenty of natural and artificial light coming into the space. Make sure the windows in your kitchen aren't covered by anything to ensure the sunlight permeates the room and perhaps add some spotlights to the ceiling, so you know it'll still be bright even at night. Using wood and grey will give the space a really rustic feel, which will make it seem like a traditional design, but with a contemporary twist.
This is a great and easy way to revamp your kitchen to make sure it stands out within your home.
